A feminist group based in Guangzhou, China staged an online protest against the sexual exploitation of women in the workplace, revealing a photograph with a message boldly written in red on a whiteboard behind them: “My vagina does not come free with my labor.” More words were written on the women’s thighs, reiterating: “Not freebies.”
The campaign was in response to a recent fatal rape case involving a 20-year-old woman at a state-owned company who was asked by her boss to a dinner. She was sexually assaulted by her boss’s friend and died as a result of her injuries.“Don’t ask your staff to provide part-time escort services. Women should only be asked to provide knowledge or technical skills in the workplace, but not other things,” says Ye Haiyan, an advocate of women’s and children’s rights.

A quick sketch of Korra recovering in her room while enjoying a bit of playful airbending AKA Aang’s amazing talent. XD
I just couldn’t handle all the feels they left in the season 3 finale…
Now before you guys start ranting about Korra’s hair I did this before the new Korra was revealed.

  12. The elevator fight is a homage to the Civil War story arc when Cap refuses to participate in the government's plan to register all superheroes and S.H.I.E.L.D. attempts to take him prisoner.

The film takes place 2 years after "The Avengers".

Filmmakers wanted the shield to be used offensively. There are two handles on the shield and Steve Rogers can hold onto the handles in order to utilize it in an eastern style of fighting.

Mackie took the role of the Falcon partly to give African-American kids another Black superhero to enjoy in the MCU.

Although playing a French/Algerian character, Georges St-Pierre speaks his lines in his native French-Canadian accent.

When Helicarriers look for their targets on one of the monitors there is a wire-frame model of formerly Stark Tower in New York now sporting the Avengers Sign.

Anna Kendrick, Felicity Jones, Imogen Poots, Teresa Palmer, Alison Brie, Emilia Clarke, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Elizabeth Olsen and Jessica Brown Findlay were considered to play Sharon Carter.

The filmmakers originally intended that Dr. Zola transfer his consciousness into a robot and make an escape. This was scrapped for running time purposes.

Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) relates a story of his grandfather being an elevator operator. In real life, Samuel L. Jackson's father was an elevator operator.

The title character does not appear until 34 minutes into the movie.
